Benalmadena travel guide
Benalmadena is one of the favorite tourist destinations of the Costa del Sol. In fact, the town consists of three distinct nuclei which are Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel. While the fringe belonging to the Mediterranean coast offers all the infrastructure of a beach resort, Benalmadena village, located a little further up the mountain, still retains the charm of the old Andalusian villages. Benalmadena has a leisure marina that has won awards for its unique design and a large urban park with various entertainment options, as well as animals. From Arroyo de la Miel leaves the cable car to the summit of Mount Calamorro. Near the port are located Sea World and Selwo Marina.
Benalmadena is located 15 km from Malaga International Airport and is connected to it, Malaga and other important towns such as Torremolinos and Fuengirola through the suburban train, the Mediterranean motorway A-7 and the national road N-340.
